Vehicle Transport to Florida Clients:
We hope that you have had a great summer. Read our annual update below. There are some changes this season to our vehicle transport to Florida service.
New: We have moved our vehicle drop off location to 450 Bowes Road, Units 9 and 10 in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada L4K 1K3
New: We will NO LONGER be delivering vehicles to Central Florida. Clients in these areas will need to pickup their vehicles on the East or West coast of Florida. Our apologies for any inconvenience for those of you who ship your vehicles to these areas.
We have terminals on the East and West coasts of Florida – our terminals deliver cars residentially into gated senior living communities on smaller flatbed trucks.
We are now open for vehicle transportation bookings and look forward to hearing from you when you are ready to book your car to be shipped to Florida!

Auto transport rates remain unchanged for this snowbird season. The 10% fuel surcharge is subject to change if diesel prices rise. Once again this year, we will be loading our car carriers with cars, trucks, SUVs every FRIDAY. Also this year all automobiles being transported need to be at our new Vaughan terminal for loading on the Friday.
Weekly auto transportation from Toronto to Florida will be starting on Friday, September 22, 2023.
Car carriers are scheduled to load vehicles on December 22 & 29, 2023, during the Christmas and New Year holidays, nonetheless these dates may have slight changes due to the holiday season.
Residential pick-up of your vehicle in Florida will occur every TUESDAY but during high volume weeks in the spring our terminals will need to spread out residential vehicle pickups so that they occur on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to facilitate demand.
We will send small flatbed trucks to collect/deliver your vehicle from your residence, gated community, senior living community, valet service, concierge, etc..
Allow up to one week for shipping your vehicle during normal volume weeks however up to 10 days during the very high-volume weeks, for example the last week of March (before Passover/Easter).
If you are concerned that your vehicle transportation has been scheduled during a high-volume time of year call to ask us!
Do not count the vehicle load date as a shipping day. If you request to have your vehicle picked up earlier than your load date your vehicle will not leave early either way your vehicle will leave on the official load date!
You need to book an appointment to drop off your vehicle at our Vaughan, ON terminal.
TORONTO TO FLORIDA VEHICLE TRANSPORT RATES – FALL 2023 & SPRING 2024:

Small-Mid Size SUVS, Minivans: $1700* call if you are unsure, as this is at our discretion
Large SUVS: $1850*
Pickup Trucks: $2100*

Pickup Trucks: $2400*

Southbound rates are from Ottawa, Ontario area to your door in Florida. Vehicle pickup will occur Wednesday/Thursday**
Northbound rates include pick up from your door in Florida to Ottawa, ON area. Please allow a few extra days from Toronto for this.**

**areas in Florida that we deliver vehicles to are on the East Coast and West Coast of Florida – cities located in the middle of Florida and at the Northern border are not areas of Florida where we deliver and/or picks up vehicles from**
There is a surcharge for delivering vehicles to certain cities in Florida, USA- this is to minimize increases to every client across the board.
To avoid these surcharges on your vehicle transport and save $50, collect or deliver your vehicle to the closest terminal.
The further away your residence is from our Florida terminals, the more likely there will be a surcharge.

Other Surcharges for vehicle transport to and from Florida, USA:
$400 for excess luggage. We are governed by US and Canadian weight limitations regarding vehicle transportation on open car carriers. We can provide you with a guide on packing your vehicle for vehicle transportation if you require. Contact TransAtlas Moving for personal affect delivery to Florida.
Clients are to ONLY use the trunk area of the vehicle to ship personal items. One set of golf clubs can be placed on the floor of the backseat of the vehicle being transported.
There is a 3% handling fee on all credit card transactions.
If you require vehicle importation services the cost for this is $400.00 to hire a US customs broker
SPRING 2024 VEHICLE TRANSPORT FROM FLORIDA TO CANADA:
A fee of $75 will be added to your spring vehicle return rate ONLY to cover the cost of the Canada Customs Broker for Canadian plated vehicles.
The Canada Customs Broker acts as your representative at the border so that your vehicle may return to our vehicle storage location.
US-plated cars do not fall under this category. Vehicles bearing USA license plates must be cleared at the Canada Customs Bond Shed in Mississauga, ON
For shipment of US plated vehicles, a $150 fee will be added to your fee for the customs broker to prepare your paperwork. You will be expected to pick up your vehicle at the Mississauga Bond Shed. You will need to pay any release fees to the bonded warehouse.
RESIDENTIAL VEHICLE PICK-UP AND DELIVERY IN TORONTO (GTA):
Residential vehicle pickup and delivery services within Toronto and the immediate surrounding areas will be offered for $125.
Vehicles will be picked up according to our flatbed schedule on Thursday/Friday.
Provide us with at least one week’s notice to book this residential vehicle pickup and delivery service.
Vehicles located in any region outside of Toronto will be picked up on Monday through Thursday according to the area and our flatbed schedule.

Book your car shipment early to guarantee your vehicle’s spot on our car carriers, we have limited space on our trucks, ESPECIALLY during the Passover/Easter RUSH.
It is very difficult to squeeze on vehicles at the last minute. Lots of vehicles have already been scheduled for transport to AND from Florida.
